Making A Purchase

Making a purchase from The Sensualist is easy and hassle free. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

All payments processed by “NOCHEX” will be shown on card/bank statements as M.J.M Trading Ltd.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It indicates that a contract exists between us.

In the case of a change of price or a mistake in price we reserve the right to cancel the order, make a full refund and give you the option to purchase the item with the revised or correct price.

Shipping And Handling

We currently deliver to the UK and Ireland.

Standard delivery via Royal Mail parcel delivery is charged at

£3.25 for Standard delivery

£4.50 for Express delivery

£8.95 for Courier Delivery

All products are shipped discreetly in a plain mailing bag or box, with no indication as to the contents, or reference to our company. All delivery addresses will be copied as per the customer input. If the carrier or post cannot deliver because of incorrect address then we reserve the right to charge an additional supplement. Whilst we try to deliver all goods ordered in accordance with our pledge, we take no responsibility for any consequence of late delivery however caused.

Damaged in Transit – Claim time limits

It will be your responsibility to inform us immediately of any damage to the delivered goods. Details must be recorded on the delivery documentation, and we must be notified no later than 48 hours after delivery. It is imperative that you do not dispose of any of the packaging as this will be required to effect the claim against the carrier.

Shortage

It is the responsibility of you to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the delivery or carrier consignment note. If you suspect that there are items missing from delivery, first check that the order has not been partly shipped. Any shortage must be noted on the delivery note and we are to be notified within 24 hours.

Incorrect Goods

Notify us of any incorrect goods supplied within 24 hours of delivery. If the items are not what you ordered, you must not open the manufactures packaging or use the items. We will not exchange or refund for any suspected used garments. It will be your responsibility to notify us of any problems.

Non Delivery

We will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless we are notified within 2 days from expected delivery date.
We shall accept no liability for shortages, non deliveries, incorrect goods or damaged on delivery outside the stated timescales. Except when extenuating circumstances have prevented the notification within the stated timescale.

Back Orders

In the event that a product is currently out of stock, you will be notified as soon as possible via email.

We would expect to get your goods to you within a few days or up to 28 days. We do try to keep out site stock position up to date but at times their maybe an overlap,

This does not happen very often but we feel it should be mentioned to avoid any disappointment when ordering.

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, you will be redirected to our card payment provider “NOCHEX”.

“NOCHEX” are specialists in card payment processing.

If you have a problem with payment processing when purchasing your goods please contact “NOCHEX” or ourselves.

Staff at The Sensualist do not have access to credit card details at any time.

So all card processing problems will be passed onto “NOCHEX” and a member of there team will contact you direct to resolve your problem.

We offer a 100% guarantee that if you're in any way dissatisfied with the goods you have ordered, we will exchange them or give you a refund (less postage costs) provided that you return them to us in their original condition and packaging, unworn and unwashed, with all labels intact. All of our products come with a 14 day no quibble guarantee. (14 days start from date you receive goods).

Unfortunately Unless faulty, Elysia products & Stockings/Pantyhose cannot be returned once opened due to Health & Hygiene regulations.

Please also note that returns on Body Stockings, Stockings, Tights & Elysia Products are excluded from our general returns policy for Health & hygiene reasons. These conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Gift Wrapping.

Each order that qualifies for free gift wrapping will only qualify for 1 item per order to be gift wrapped. Customers should notify us of which item they require wrapping on there order.
